Koffi Olomide Finally sent Out of Kenya

Congolese Singer Koffi Olomide was on Saturday deported to Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) after assaulting his female dancer while on Kenyan soil.
The artiste was reportedly taken back to Kinsasha together with his three colleagues in a Kenya Airways Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner that left the Nairobi at 11.15am.

Olomide's lawyer George Wajackoyah, however, condemned the action stating that the deportation was carried out illegally adding that his client received the worst treatment from police.
"Whoever gave the orders was malicious and acted contrary to the constitution. You cannot deport a person without giving them a chance to respond, the right procedure was not followed in deporting Koffi Olomide," the lawyer said.
