STOP DEFRAUDING YOUNG TALENTS ANDY AMENECHI LASH OUT!

What I love about Facebook is that everything happens on that social network, yes just anything you could possibly think of; the good, the bad and the pretty ugly. But my favorite part of it is the very gossips I see on my news feed. Hehehe! I laugh in Mexican facebook as a social network also serve as…

Today I was arouse to (Not that kinda arouse, hian! Dirty minds) by legendary movie Director Andy Amenechi on what he posted on facebook concerning some film makers asking upcoming  actors to pay on their audition ground. Yes this happens in the movie industry on daily basis and little or nothing has been said or done to address this act of defrauding young talents.

But here we are someone who is feeling our pain has effortlessly volunteered to advocate for the right of upcoming actors, and the man is legendary Nollywood movie Director Andy Amenechi
Here is what he wrote:
“AUDITION IS FREE. DO NOT PAY FOR AUDITION FOR ANY ROLE. THEY NEED YOU AS MUCH AS YOU NEED THE JOBS.” They can’t deny it.

Another men I like in the industry are Ernest Obi and Vincent D. Anointed, these two men are very open minded and have been speaking up the voiceless upcoming actors like their life depends on it.
Here is what Director Vincent D Anointed shared in his timeline:
“please aspiring actors don’t pay money for you to act. I don’t run any production company and I don’t register actors for them to work with me. Be patient; if providence brings us together we will work. Beware of the thief duping people claiming to be me and collecting money from them. I don’t register anyone for anything. ‘you are supposed to be paid for acting not you paying to act…’
A word is enough for the wise”.

Good one! Helping someone in need doesn’t necessarily mean you have to provide for the person, if you can’t assist someone in realizing their dreams you can help them by giving them your good advice. And that’s what they two men do.

I was once a victim of paying money to the ‘so-called movie maker’ who paraded himself as a demigod. I ran into him earlier this year at Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, where I went with a friend to pick up his sister who flew in to the country. I was expecting to see Range rover sport utility vehicle to my greatest surprised he was pricing taxi like Akara, I greeted him and he was thrown off-guard. Why won’t he? His conscience was still flogging the living day light out of him. No peace for the wicked mind!
I enter my friend’s car and I waved at him as we drove off, he was evidently shocked. Moral of the story? Read between the lines.

Help people while you can. Don’t make anyone feel less human because you are privileged to be where you are today. I usually tell my friends that I don’t want to leave this world without affecting life positively. Nothing last forever!
I know we don’t have much on us, but that is not an excuse for us not give when situation calls for. Because there is joy in giving than receiving and I feel great joy in me when I put a smile on someone’s face.  I sign off. Need to take a nap!

KITE'S DIARY----FALSE PRETENSE 1

Kite watched from the corner, the good looking guy in the perfectly tailored suit. Expensive and expertly coiffed from the way his short black wavy hair was styled, all the way down to his shined to the hilt expensive black Italian shoes. There was not a thing out of place, not the shirt, shirt, suit, wrist watch, she could bet herself a million bucks which she didn’t have, that he carried a Monte Blanc wallet.

He reeked of big bucks; she came across these ones really rarely. He was begging to be marked, her mark she thought to herself as she watched him move through the high end store perusing the items on display but seeming to have no interest in them.

SO LISA WAS ACTUALLY ABUSED BY HER UNCLE?

Happy new week everyone!
How was your weekend?  Today I will be sharing a true life story of someone that I know with you. I pray you get inspired after reading this.

Lisa was thrown out of the only place she could call a home, she found herself in the hand of an Uncle who rapidly became, cruel, pushing, kicking, molesting, but it is the s*xual abuse story which has thorn Lisa most deeply, and the wounding in the lack of understanding of her peers.
You would never label Lisa’s Uncle as an abuser, he was cool, never got into fights and everyone who met him thought he was taking good care of Lisa.

EVIDENCE! DIRTY SECRETS OF SOME NOLLYWOOD ACTRESSES EXPOSED!

The greatest gift of being successful is that particular blend of sincerity, intelligence and hard work.
Nollywood  movie Director  cum script writer, Vincent D Anointed is indeed an epitome such trait.
The first time I saw him was sometime last year when I went to collect a movie script of ‘The wind’ in media Royal Hotel, Enugu state. He was filming one of his block buster movies like that. When my friend told me he was Vincent D Anointed GCF my jaw literally dropped. I mean i expected to see an elderly man with pot belly not a young man. But that was him busy with his phone (Please don’t ask me what he was doing with his phone, cos I got no answers to unlock). HIAN HIAN!
If you haven’t seen or heard about any of his crafts then you on a very long thing. Yes you are sleeping on a moving bicycle! Lol

If you’re still doubting his potential, your lunch and dinner for today will be impounded and confiscated. Court!

A TO Z ACTING TERMS EVERY ACTOR SHOULD KNOW. PART2.

Good day readers, I must say a very big thank you to everyone that visit my blog on daily basis. It is not easy. Hmm!  This is the continuation of ‘A TO Z ACTING TERMS EVERY ACTOR SHOULD KNOW’. Have fun!

WELFARE: food that the cast and production crew consume on location.

WRAP: It’s referred to a completion of filming.

ACTION: it simply means ‘start’ to act. Commonly used by Movie Directors and assistant Directors.

CONTINUITY: I think the word ‘Repeat’ is the perfect explanation for continuity. You are asked to do exactly what you did in the first shot in the first shot. No addition or subtraction. Example, facial expression, Accent and so on.

STOP DOMESTIC VIOLENCE…IT HURT THE KIDS MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!!!

I didn’t feel too well to blog today, but something keep screaming in side of me yes inside of me. Little has been tutored on ‘’domestic violence’’ and it effect on the kids of this generation and the generations yet to come. Ok now I’m stirring into my blogger dashboard looking for the simplest way to dish out my mind for my beloved readers to grasp. Yeah, I know you all have a good grasp of human compassions. I mean just like myself!

Lately, we have been reading, seeing, listening or watching stories of how father rapes his young daughter, how an adult molests a child entrusted in his care. They are abused stories right? Alright that’s topic for another day.
Let me share a little story with you. This is no fiction at all. It is real and real as real. Here is the story below:

She is barely fourteen. Beautiful but she tries too hard not to be seeing as one. Intelligent, but low self esteem has taken advantage of her. Yes that’s what Chioma is passing through.
Chioma has grown up in a family where domestic violence between her parents is the talk of the street. Sometimes she is caught in the middle and she’s been forced to take sides.  She’s also had to deal with physical abuse (bullies) at her school and at times she found it too hard to cope with stress and control her temper. Poor chioma!

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHILDHOOD?
My child childhood was much interesting, cos I practically grew up being loved by everyone.

WHAT IS LIKE LOOSING YOUR FATHER AT TENDER AGE?
As a child I never felt my father’s loss too much because my Mom has always been there, she is such a strong woman that she played both the mother and father role, well enough. I still miss my Dad though, I took after him as my Dad’s sisters’ would say, he always took part in all the school dramas in those days, I would say he lives in me.
